State Drama Festival 2014

State Drama Festival 2014 from 10th Feb. onwards at Tower hall

State Drama Festival 2014 organized for the 42nd time by the Department of Cultural Affairs together with the State Panel of Drama of the Sri Lanka Arts Council on the direction of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts will be held form 10th February 2014 daily to 28th February at 6.00 p.m. at Tower Hall Theatre , Maradana.

13 Dramas were selected for the final round in this year and this is the first occasion where highest number of dramas were selected for the final round in the resent history of the festival. 15 short dramas were also selected for the final round.

17th February – Che Guvera (Mara Damu Jeewathvena Minisa)- Buddhika Damayantha
18th February – Rangapam Ivarayi – Udayasiri Wickramaratna
19th February – Rawana Adaraye Husma Langa – Akila Sapumal
20th February – Visekariya – Priyankara Ratnayaka
21st February – Sellam Nirindu – Jayalath Manoratna
22nd February – Hunuwataye Kathawa – Parakrama Nirialla
26th February – Muham(Tamil Invited) – Upananda Welikala
