“Voice of Men” is a theatrical experience about Masculine culture. Through the performance 10 men speak out their stories based on the stereotypical construction of their gendered self. “Voice of men” will create a dialog to motivate men to re-think their day-to-day practices and responses within their various relationships which are highlighted by others are influenced by the masculine culture. Each performer will challenge his attitudes that accept and promote gender stereotypes and reflect the barriers that masculinity imposes on men’s happiness and on breaking these barriers towards self-development leading to healthy relationships and not power-based relationships. The entire story focus on how masculinity hinders relationships and personal progress.
