Diploma Programme in Drama and Theatre
Are you keen to study drama? Are you hardworking and ambitious to become a competent theatre artiste? Then the Diploma of Drama and Theatre conducted by Lanka Children’s and Youth Theatre Foundation (LCYTF) is the right choice for you.
The programme entails all round training such as acting, script writing and analysis, directing, movement and vocal training. Over 30 years, the LCYTF has been training numerous talented youth who are at present engaged in the work of both theatre and film industry at professional level in Sri Lanka. LCYTF was established by Somalatha Subasinghe in 1981 and later it was incorporated in the parliament of Sri Lanka under Act No 3 of 2007.

නාට්ය හා රංගනය පිළිබඳ ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව
සෝමලතා සුබසිංහගේ ලංකා ළමා හා යොවුන් රඟහල පදනම (Play House Kotte) විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන නාට්ය හා රංගනය ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවීම දැන් ආරම්භ කර ඇත. ප්රවීණ රංගන ශිල්පි, කථීකාචාර්ය කෞශල්යා ප්රනාන්දු, ප්රවීණ රංගන ශිල්පි, සම්මානනීය පිටපත් රචක නාමල් ජයසිංහ සහ ප්රවීන රංගන ශිල්පි ප්රසන්න මහගමගේ විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලබන මෙම පාඨමාලාව මැයි මාසයේදී ආරම්භ වීමට නියමිතය.
සෝමලතා සුබසිංහගේ නාට්ය ආයතනය, නාට්ය නිෂ්පාදනය, ප්රදර්ශනය සහ නාට්යකරණ පුහුණුව පිළිබඳ ලංකාවේ ප්රමුඛතම ආයතනයක් වන අතර පසුගිය අවුරුදු 35 ක පමණ කාලයතුල මෙම ආයතනයේ පුහුණුවලත් දක්ෂ තරුණ නාට්යකරුවන් වර්ථමානයේ නාට්ය හා සිනමා කර්මාන්තයේ වෘත්තිමය මට්ටමෙන් කටයුතු කරනු ලබයි.
